A native of Texas, Ray graduated from Texas A&M University and immediately reported for Navy/Marine Corps flight training as a newly commissioned 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Marines. After several years serving as a Marine Corps officer and pilot, Ray retired as a Major and joined American Airlines where he spent more than three decades as a domestic and international pilot. During that time, Ray began his foray into real estate, starting out in Texas and eventually landing here in McCall. He’s also operated boat charters, worked as an insurance adjuster, substitute high school teacher and certified snowboard instructor. These experiences give Ray a well-rounded perspective that serves him well when working with commercial clients and negotiating deals.
In spite of that busy lifestyle, Ray has carved out time to volunteer on several boards and commissions, including the Valley County Fair and Rodeo Board and the McCall Parks and Rec Board.
